About Me

imageMy Experience
As a graduate with honors from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy’s 1,000-hour certification program, I have extensive coursework in neuromuscular, deep tissues, and sports techniques, and Swedish therapeutic and Zen Shiatsu massage.  I also have extensive hours in the Master Bodyworker for Orthopedic and Sports Massage program from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy’s 200-hour Advanced Bodywork Studies program.

My Practice
When you hire Sports Pro Touch you are in good hands!  I have been a Registered Massage Therapist since June 17, 2006.  I offer customized, therapeutic bodywork to complement professional/elite athletic, sports training and self-care programs. I specialize in neuromuscular and deep tissue bodywork, including: soft tissue manipulation, myofacial release, muscular energy techniques, injury-specific rehabilitation and resistance/relaxation stretches.  I work from a physical therapy office and also have a home-based part-time practice in Broomfield.

My Philosophy
My philosophy is to help clients benefit from the positive effects of therapeutic massage as it fits into their personal, competitive or comprehensive training program(s).  I share my knowledge and specialized healing techniques with each client and enjoy helping him/her reduce stress and tension, promote relaxation, ease chronic pain and musculoskeletal injuries.  I also believe therapeutic massage can positively affect my client’s emotions, attitude, and mental clarity when faced with life’s challenges and everyday events.

My Clients
I have worked on a vast array of sports and health enthusiasts, more than a dozen professional Colorado Crush AFL football team players, various elite athletes and completed more than 1,000 massages in the last six years.  I have given over 12 hours of treatment-specific, orthopedic massages to the Boulder Center for Sports Medicine staff, and have volunteered over 400 community service hours of post-event sports massage to participants at events such as the Paul Derda Rec Ctr Health Fairs and Fun Run, Mini-ha ha, Bolder Boulder, Earth Day 5k Run, Longmont Triathlon, and Rocky Mtn Lab Rescue.
